Keri Sutter, Executive Director
Keri Sutter, dancer and singer. Keri graduated magna cum laude from the University of New Mexico with a major in dance and a minor in religious studies. She has directed Surgite since 1985, and was the director of the dance program at the Youth Activity Center at Kirtland Air Force Base for 8 years. She began studying voice with Jeanne Grealish in 1990 and currently studies with Jane Snow. She continues to study dance at La Mesa Dance Academy in Albuquerque.
Keri was on the faculty of the Presbyterian Association of Musicians
Conference (PAM West) in Pasadena, CA in July, 2006. She taught
workshops on liturgics (how and why people worship) and liturgical dance.
She also presented a workshop on movement during the Toastmasters
International convention in Phoenix, AZ in August, 2007.
